ABOUT ME
I've been a professional private vocal coach for over two decades. I studied music at Long Beach City College and Cal State Long Beach, where I majored in Elementary Education and Vocal Music.
After college, I worked as a print model in Los Angeles and Tokyo for six years before turning to commercial singing. I went on to co-found and perform in the professional vocal jazz group BEACHFRONT PROPERTY, headlining concert halls across America with symphony orchestras, big bands, and jazz trios. I also appeared with BEACHFRONT and Hal Linden in the Off-Broadway production of City of Angels. Over 30 years of performing and touring, I've also adjudicated vocal competitions and co-produced Beachfront Property's recordings.
I began coaching in 2003, when my daughters were attending a dance studio in Temecula. The owner knew I sang professionally and asked me to create a vocal program. I fell in love with teaching and with watching my students grow and blossom. Soon after, a top casting director began sending me young actors to coach online for TV, film, and other auditions.
Today I work with students around the world: working actors in the entertainment industry, dancers auditioning for film, TV, and commercials, singers preparing for record label and college auditions, and students who simply want to find their best sound. My goal is to help kids of all ages find their voice, confidence, and passion through music.
